Each semester Pacific University offers a variety of intramural activities that students can participate in. This fall the University is offering new activities including lawn games.

“The Lawn Games include playing all three of cornhole, ladder ball and spikeball,” Director of Intramurals Angela Moberg said.

Also new, is the Cornhole Challenge League which is just one of the few Recreation leagues offered  along with the Tennis Challenge League, flag football COED tournament and the dodgeball tournament.

Pacific will be offering many notable intramural activities as well as flag football, volleyball and indoor soccer to its list.

“We have Zumba classes, pickup basketball and the fitness hours which wraps up our full schedule,” Moberg added.

Many of these activities, leagues and tournaments are still open for registration. While sand volleyball and lawn games are closed to sign up, students can still sign up for flag football, indoor soccer and volleyball. Registration for those activities closes Sept. 20.

All recreation leagues are still open for students to join with sign ups ending Oct. 1, not including our school Dodgeball Tournament, which does not open until Nov. 1.

Many of schools activities such as Zumba, pick-up basketball, bowling and fitness center have no sign up dates and are always available for students to come participate.

Students are welcome to sign up and take part in any league or activity. It is a great way to make friends, compete in friendly competition and most of all, to have some fun.
