I would like to thank Professor Jules Boykoff of the political science department for putting on the panel of guest speakers from the media on Feb. 19. It was an incredible opportunity, not just for students in his “Politics and the Media” class, but for other members of the Pacific community to attend as well. I’d also like to thank the panelists for chiseling out an hour and a half of what I’m sure are incredibly busy schedules in order to help answer questions from the audience about one of the most misunderstood professions in the world today. I hope events of this nature continue at Pacific.

It would be beneficial for ACE Board and every event planning group on campus to plan events and send out Facebook invites at least one week prior to the event. It’s hard to attend events when there are so many things going on in the first place. I’d love to see events proposed and advertised well in advance.
