The Registrar’s office launched an online transcript ordering system on July 9, allowing students quick and easy access for requesting transcripts. No longer will students have to travel between the Registrar and Business offices to fill out transcript information and pay for them. Transcripts are now only a click away.

In addition, Pacific now can produce transcripts as secure PDFs, which speeds up delivery time and eliminates paper from the process.

Going onto Boxeronline, all students have to do is click on “Transcript request” in the academic profile column. From there, the process is self-explanatory and assists students every step of the way.

After clicking “Place a Transcript Order,” students are taken to iwantmytranscript.com. This site processes student’s transcript requests and sends them electronically or in paper form. Electronic transcripts cost $5 with paper transcripts are an additional $2 to cover the cost of paper, postage and handling. Rush processing or expedited delivery of transcripts is available for additional charges.

Students can also attach documents such as cover letters and resumes that will accompany their resumes.

Students with a hold on their account that doesn’t allow them to order a transcripts will receive an email sent to their Pacific address that tells them how to address the situation.

To track the progress of ordered transcripts, students can log onto the site, through Boxeronline or the direct URL, iwantmytranscript.com, and see where their transcripts are in the process of being sent. The standard shipping for transcripts is three to five days.

When transcripts are sent electronically, the recipient receives an email telling them to make an account on iwantmytranscript.com to view the transcript. If the transcript is not viewed within 14 days, it is deleted. This is designed to protect student’s private information.

Also, after a transcript is opened by the recipient it has to be downloaded immediately which is another device to protect student’s information

“This is a much faster, streamlined service for students. The ability to pay online, 24 hours a day, makes ordering transcripts so much easier. And students can track that progress of their transcripts online, instead of having to call or come into the Registrar’s office,” said Registrar Anne Herman.

For students who graduated in 1994 or before, they still have to contact the Registrar directly for transcripts, because their information is not yet stored in the student data system. These former students should select normal paper delivery even if they want expedited delivery, but also put a note in the special comments section with their phone number so staff can contact them about options.
