Pacific property was recovered after a rash of burglaries along Main Street.

A vehicle was stolen on the 2700 block on March 10. The owner of the vehicle reported it stolen along with her purse and iPad.

The owner had left the car running to warm it up and while away from the vehicle the suspect climbed in and drove away.

That same night, on the 3200 block of Lavina Drive, a resident noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. When the car parked, the police were notified.

The officers who responded to the call confirmed the vehicle was the same that was stolen from Main Street. They set up containment and requested a tracking dog to find the suspect.

David Collins, 35, was found hiding under a boat near Catching Court and was arrested on a felony warrant and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

On March 11, Hailee West, 19, was arrested for burglary and is suspected of riding in the stolen car with Collins.

Several stolen items were recovered in the Forest Gale Heights area, some of which had been stolen in the Pacific burglaries.

These items have not been disclosed, but Captain Mike Herb of the Forest Grove Police Department said both Collins and West were indicted on charges connected to these incidents.
