On Thursday, Oct. 8, Pacific University launched a COVID-19 tracing dashboard, which allows students to view the total number of tests conducted since March, along with active cases that are being monitored both on and off campus.
Earlier this month, Pacific University announced that study abroad programs for spring semester have been canceled.
Senior Brycen Lee, a kinesiology major at Pacific, currently plays for the men’s soccer team as an outside back. He had big plans for his senior season but once the news of a postponed season hit, Lee was forced to adapt.
Many students from Hawaii were faced with a tough decision to either return to Pacific or stay home for the Fall Semester.
Due to COVID-19, fall athletes are without a season in 2020, but recent events have Pacific athletes closer to taking the field than expected.
