Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend an afternoon of excitement and fun celebrating diversity and culture at this year’s multicultural event; Around the World.

Clubs from all around campus, including the Activities and Cultural Event Board, Chinese Club, Spanish Club, French Club, German Club, Hawaii Club and the Muslim Student Association, will crowd together in the University Center on Sept. 30 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. to promote their clubs through song, dance, and other activities.

“Students will want to come to this event to learn about and celebrate all of the diversity campus has to offer,” Director of International Programs Katelyn Eisenhooth said.

All who attend the event will be able to feast on a variety of different plates from around the world.

Students will also be able to participate in a number of different activities as they move from booth to booth, including both henna and origami stations.

Event goers will also be able to watch a choreographed dance performed by members of the Pacific community.

Members from clubs participating in the event will perform dances and song throughout the day as well, including both a traditional Indian and Chinese dance that will take place at some point during the event.

This year’s Around the World event will be hosted by the Office of International Programs, ACE Board and Aramarck. All are welcome to attend and no tickets are needed for the event.
