Football plays away

The football team took their first loss of the 2015 season Sept. 19 during against Dubuque. Quick scoring by Dubuque put Pacific behind. Unfortunately, the Boxers came up short in the contest losing 31-29 after another impressive fourth quarter comeback.

“We learned that we are never out of a game,” said Coach Buckley. “Our ability to charge forward and put up a fight even in the face of a double digit deficit is something that’s really positive and shows a level of maturity.”

This year’s seniors are really fueling the offensive attacks.With quarterback senior, Warner Shaw averaging 311 yards per game along with 3 touchdowns per game. His main receivers, Nathan Suyematsu and senior Jason Smith, are each averaging over 100 receiving yards per game.
